The healthcare industry is a fluctuating environment, and keeping abreast of regulatory guidelines is the only way to protect our customers and ensure compliance. We are aggressive when it comes to compliance training for our teams. Our training program was instituted to ensure all employees understand and adhere to the stipulations of the FDA, OIG, AMA, ACCME, PhRMA, and AdvaMed. Further, our oversight committees ensure that work products comply with US laws, regulations, and associated policies, procedures, and contracts.
DWA Healthcare Communications Group’s compliance program provides ongoing training and support for the staff to address daily issues and questions. Compliance updates are incorporated into project kick-off meetings, monthly department meetings, and annual company-wide training meetings. We also perform random internal audits and subject matter testing. And all new employees are required to attend compliance training as part of their orientation.
