Debbie Routh is Senior Manager of the Multimedia and Design Services Department. Ms. Routh joined DWA Healthcare Communications Group in March 2005, bringing with her 12 years of account management and business consulting experience. Currently, she manages a staff of visual design and multimedia experts. Ms. Routh is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is a member of the Project Management Institute. Her experience in the industry includes extensive knowledge of the FDA approval process, direct-to-consumer and healthcare professional marketing strategies, and product branding guidelines. Debbie earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University.
Becky Crumley is Director of Project Support Services. Ms. Crumley joined DWA Healthcare Communications Group in April 2000, during which time she has served as a Senior Account Manager focusing on the management of both domestic and international medical education programs for various pharmaceutical companies. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Crumley’s most recent role has been to integrate her expertise in interpersonal relationships and strategy into our project management and meeting planning teams by effectively training and mentoring individuals on all aspects including industry compliance and internal processes and procedures to ensure high quality and accurate implementation.
Her previous experience includes working as an account manager for a logistical meeting planning firm focusing on the healthcare industry, providing direction and management for meetings ranging from 25 to 3000 people. Ms. Crumley earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in hospitality management. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Melanie Ball is Manager of Copyediting Services. She joined the Copyediting Services Department in 2000. Ms. Ball oversees an editing team that is responsible for maintaining the consistency, accuracy, and professionalism of all corporate documents and program deliverables. She has helped develop and train staff on editorial policies, established a house editorial style based on AMA guidelines, and developed customized templates for use in a wide variety of programs.
Ms. Ball created the original DWA Manual of Style, a comprehensive in-house style guide, and she has helped create and maintain the DWA Branding Style Guide, which details corporate branding standards. She has developed How-to-Edit guidelines for various deliverables as well as The Editor’s Handbook on how to edit all company documents to assist the training of new editors. She worked with a corporate trainer to develop an in-house Business Writing and Grammar Workshop and helped develop an E-mail Etiquette training seminar for all staff. Ms. Ball has been instrumental in developing the Proofing, Editing, Content, and Accuracy (PECA) process, which is the company’s internal quality assurance and routing process that ensures all deliverables are sent to the appropriate quality assurance checks and approved in a timely manner.
Matthew Ray is Manager of Information Systems Services. He has worked in the IT industry for more than one decade providing a range of professional services that leverages Web-based technology to develop custom data extraction and processing applications. Mr. Ray has a keen sense of business process with a focus on automation. He is responsible for management of the data analysis and development team as well as custom software/Web site development. Mr. Ray also has been instrumental in the evolution of the company's project and quality management methodologies through Project Management Institute and Lean Six Sigma trainings. He is certified on many development platforms and methodologies and is considered an expert in such Web-based technologies as PHP, ASP, .NET, SQL, and MySQL.
Jennifer Sargent brings 15 years of experience in project management and leadership to the DWA Healthcare Communications Group. As the corporate Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Manager of the Office of Lean Six Sigma, a department within ServicePoint Solutions, Ms. Sargent is responsible for identifying and coordinating strategic implementations for process improvement projects within the company with a goal to increase customer satisfaction and business productivity.
Ms. Sargent joined the company in 2001, serving as Account Manager for various pharmaceutical clients, and she advanced quickly to Senior Account Manager and Senior Manager of Marketing Services. In her current position, she provides her expertise in the coordination and execution of Lean Six Sigma methods across all facets of the organization. Ms. Sargent earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Marketing.
